BIO.
Leaving University, armed with the First Things First manifesto, I wanted to produce work that would make a positive difference in people's lives.

Stefan Sagmeister, at the time was pursuing a similar line of thought and set an international competition asking, Can you touch someone's heart with design? He reasoned that he has read books that had changed his life, and seen movies that had touched him, but could find little from the design world that had the same impact.

My submission, which you can see here was picked to win the competition and I was fortunate to receive mentoring from Stefan in New York. My project was used as part of his keynote lecture at the AIGA conference, 'Design and Happiness.' and has subsequently been published in Grafik and Print magazines, and the book: Tempus Fugit. world's best calendar design.

Back in the UK, I was fortunate to become part of the Design Council's Design of the Times programme, using design to help improve peoples' lives. I worked with thinkpublic on a year long project aiming to help people over 50 stay in work.

Since the Dott project, I have worked freelance as a Social Designer before starting a three month residency with Raid AIR in Los Angeles, working on self initiated design projects.
