Diary for a Life time
A Diary designed to last a life time. It runs for 82 years, which is the current life expectancy. This design won first place in an international competition set by New York designer Stefan Sagmeister. The brief was to 'Touch someone's heart with design'
The diary has one week per page for eighty two years. A working version was produced and put on exhibition at the Sea gallery in London by Grafik magazine for three weeks.
Viewers at the exhibition were asked to write an expectation for their life in the diary at the date at which they hoped to reach it. The design is meant to visually represent your life, mortality and what you choose to do with each day.
